Art is a powerful tool that makes individuals’ existential complexities and social contradictions visible. We also took our place at the ArtAnkara Art Fair held in Ankara between February 20-23 and participated in the fair with the theme of “Inequality”.
In this exhibition, we questioned how individual differences can create togetherness and how they can be re-evaluated in a social context with the works of Artist Remzi. Remzi’s portrait drawings and busts address the contradictions of human existence in both an aesthetic and intellectual depth.
The artist’s unique perception allows him to express the togetherness of inequality and individual differences in his works with an aesthetic language. As an artist with autism, Remzi reflects how he experiences the world sensorily and conceptually in his art while reshaping the boundaries of social perception. His lines, beyond leaving traces on the surface, reveal the existential journey of man.
Each work reveals the multi-layered structure of human experience, showing that imperfections can be symbols that reflect the dynamics of human nature that oscillate between fragility and durability. Ceramics decorated with broken lines, unfinished forms and details on the surface bring individual stories together in a collective narrative.
We believe that art is not only a form of aesthetic expression, but also a way to deepen individual and social searches for meaning. We would like to thank all art lovers who are with us in this exhibition where Remzi interprets the world with his unique sensitivity.
